Short Term Registration Permit (STRP) : formerly known as Trial Reg. Permit (TRP) $10/STRP FEE
- Used for a player not registered with OS or a Provincial Association affiliated to the CSA
- Allowed to play 3 games/tournaments for a registered team during a 30 day period
- Player may obtain 2 STRPs in one playing season, trial period shall not overlap, must be with different club
- Valid for any age
- New for 2019 - cannot be used for either minor or adult players outside of Canada/Ontario (these players require an ITC or ITP to register.)
- Can only be used for trialling the player for training purposes only
- Only non registrants from Ontario are eligible for 3 trial games with a Registered Team
Process:
- Email/bring a completed STRP to EMSA office (admin@emsadistrict.com)
- Submit card request online - leave SEOS# blank
- Attach approved STRP to game sheet
Temporary Eligibility Permit (TEP): $10/TEP
NEW: JotForm (see Workflow Overview)
- Player must be U14 and older, registered with OS or another Provincial Association affiliated to Canada Soccer
- Player is entitled to 3 TEP during any season (game/tournament)
- Lateral movement not allowed
- Club is responsible for the eligibility of the player to play in the specific event
- TEPs are only exchanged if the game noted on the form is cancelled. Proof of the cancelled game from the league must be presented in order to exchange the permit
- A player who is suspended cannot use this form until suspension is completed
Workflow Overview:
- Player/Parent Submission - Form initially completed and submitted by the player or their parent/guardian
- Club Approval - Submission is routed to the appropriate Club for review & approval
- District Approval - Once approved by the Club, the form is forwarded to the District for final approval
- Distribution - Copies of the TEP are sent to the player, both Clubs, and the District(s) - the attached PDF must be printed and brought to the game/tournament. Player must have digital player ID accessible and be prepared to present at the game.
